The project is a University of Toronto research study on Black women’s experiences navigating online platforms. It examines how and why Black women enter digitally mediated platform work, the benefits they experience, and the challenges or forms of exploitation they may face. The goal is to better understand these experiences and contribute to future policies and protections for people working through online platforms.

To further this project, we wish to interview women working on the online platforms to allow an in-depth review of their experiences.

If you wish to come forward, here are the eligibility requirements:

• You identify as Black
• You are, or have been, a service provider on an online platform such as Fiverr or TaskRabbit.
